Taking Back America from Corporations
Capitalism is the feeling that all resources should be controlled by private parties with no governance involvement to maximize profits. This is likewise called Laissez Faire concept advocating that government is just now there to protect private businesses from aggression and theft. Laissez Faire calls for no regulation, no tariffs, no subsidies and absolutely no involvement from the government. Corporations and businesses alike wonder this concept. With the lack of government oversight, businesses can conduct unethical or irresponsible business actions to only benefit themselves. They pauperism protections from material theft, but they believe that robbing people of their money through schemes or lies is fine. The notion of infinite greed and becoming richer then the adjacent man is not a new idea. What has changed in the acquit of capitalism is that now corporations are considered humans. The first mansion that considered corporations were humans is the case of Charleston Railroad C. v. Letson in 1844 which deemed that a corporation is a citizen of the state in which it incorporates.
During the Gilded advance from 1850 to early 1900s, railroad tycoons amassed wealth so uncontrollably it ladder to huge disparities of income, and either a person was poor or rich. These tycoons bribed judges and government officials to write contracts in their favor and bought politicians to prepare up legislation to raise profits. These Robber Barons as they were called, were also blamed for causing the Great Depression, and society had turned uncivilised towards them. Books were written about the evil practices of businessmen, and capitalism was under clap from all sides. In came the New Deal of 1933, which focused on the 3 Rs: Relief, Recovery, and Reform. Reform came in regulations on businesses to have a go at it with malpractices, and prevent another depression.
