The character of tail Procter in Arthur Millers The Crucible was a great eccentric of a truly sad hero. He measured up to either one of Aristotles requirements. He was not a perfect someone because he had many faults and was not completely good or bad. scoop of all, he knew that he was not perfect and he recognized and regretted the errors that he made throughout his life. He was definitely no t a perfect character. He cheated on his married woman by having an affair with a teenager. He only went to church when he felt like it. Almost worst of all, he had the chance untimely in the play to put a stop to the girls accusations, but his thirst to keep his good reputation kept him from testifying against Abigail and the others.
