"The Black Cat"

Throughout the opening separate of The Black Cat, the reader is introduced to a fabricator who, because of his grotesque actions, has start mentally deranged and rightfully untrustworthy, . . . my very senses reject their own evidence. While intoxicated, the narrator cut up his favourite pet, Pluto, causing the cat to draw terrified of his master. The mania of his cat gave the narrator even more than cause to become mentally unstable.

        The hanging of his cat shows how the narrator has become obsess with doing evil things for the sake of their evilness. This evilness is coupled to his alcoholism.
