Who Is the Tragic Hero in Julius Caesar?

In the play Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare Marcus Brutus contains multiple elements that would qualify him as a tragical hero. A tragic hero is a man of noble stature who displays hamartia. Hamartia in tragedies is a crime committed in ignorance, also considered a tragic flaw. The heros down diminish, therefore, is the result of his own catastrophic choices. A tragic hero is a man of noble fictitious character who dies because of the decisions he has made, even if the heros misfortune was not completely deserved.
