In Computer Lit, We were put into a small group and told to complete an assignment. The assignment we had to do was based off of the NCAA Tournament currently going on. We had to hence go on the internet and find the teams currently in the tournament. When we knew what teams were still in, we had to look up statistics to make a graph out of. The statistics that we chose were: Win-Lose Percentage, Blocked Shots, Assists per Game, Rebounds and Steals per game. We chose these statistics beca wont we believe that they represent the teams true value. After writing down the information that we gathered from the site, we put it into a chart that showed the average of each statistic and the early(a) statistics lay side by side.
After finishing the get-go chart, we then had to make if then statements next to the first chart. We had to use dominions to find the if then statements and fill in the chart. The second chart looked identical to the first because it had the same temas and the same set up.
The formula that we had to use was Example: =IF(AC4=4,WINNER,LOSER). This determined the superior or loser of the Tournament using the averages and statistics in the chart. early(a) formulas that we used were the AVERAGE formula and the SUM formula.
While work on this assignment, we gained a lot of knowledge on the NCAA Tournament. We got to blueprint out which team would possibly win the tournament.
