Out of the Storm was a fiction novel write by Patricia Willis. When Mandys father was killed in World contend II, her and her mother and brother, Ira, were force to move out of their home in Garnet creek and move to Parrish Grove to live with their grouchy aunt Bess. Mandy hated everything about Parrish Grove, but when trouble struck, it was Mandys cracking courage that started a new life full of hopes and dreams for herself, her family, and for a very important friend. The thesis in this story is that sometimes it takes something bad to make you see the good. This story was done in third-person.
