The diction and syntax Shelley uses portrays a decisive role in expressing professionals attitude towards the dreary pursuit of knowledge. Throughout the narrative, Shelley uses words such as slew (Shelley, 51) destiny, (213) and omen (57) to hint at the tragedy that has befallen Frankenstein. Throughout the brisk Victor gradually apprehend the unspoiled consequences that follow the construct of monster. He is forced to witness the many lives taken because of his compulsion while [he] pursued [his] undertaking with unremitting ardour.
